Hi Ruth,
Sophie is doing great. She easily adjusted to her new home. She is such a good puppy, full of energy and full of love. We are so happy she picked us. She and her sister, Ally, are getting to be friends. I attached a couple of photos for you. Thank you and we will keep in touch.

Charlie is a phenomenal addition to our family. We
have another 10 year old golden retriever and they hit it off right
away. Charlie is the so loving and sweet. He loves to eat bones and run
and play but he also likes to relax and lie around. He follows my other
dog, Riley and does whatever Riley does. Almost immediately he was
sitting and lying down on command. As soon as we got him it seemed as if
he came trained. He rarely ever had accidents inside the house and he is
such a good puppy. Charlie loved the snow this winter and so far loves
the beach. He is a very social dog with such a great personality. He
loves to be petted and always wants cuddle. Him and Riley became best
friends right away.
This was the first time I have ever purchased a dog
on-line and I have to tell you I was a little nervous at first. I really
didn't know what questions to ask or how it worked. Ruth and David were
there for us the entire process. E-mails and phone calls were answered
promptly and pictures were provided any time we asked. Picking Charlie
up from the airport was simple too... I couldn't have asked for anything
more. I have recommended the Y-Rock Ranch to my friends and family and
every other person who stops me to say how cute Charlie is. (Which is
ALOT!!!)
Thank you so much for everything you have done for us
and I can guarantee that you will be hearing from us again for our next
dog!

Thanks for checking in! Roxy is a perfect addition to our family! We are so pleased with her and her disposition. Thanks also for the picture of the whole litter! Hope yall are doing well too!

Dear Ruth,
I've been meaning to email you but have been so busy with work. Update on Colt. He is amazing he is the sweetest and most gentle loving dog. When you told me he was the wildest of the litter I was there for the challenge. We had a large party with lots of children and he was gentle and let them basically do anything to him. Until this day I have parents asking me all the time how is that sweet puppy. He is 60 lbs and still growing like crazy. He is going to be a big boy.
We brought him to Rocky Point, Mexico to our property and he took to the water like a fish. He would dive into waves that were 4 ft tall and retrieve bumpers. He had a blast. It was hard to keep him out of the ocean. He is quit the character. He loved finding shells and digging up crabs. I love him and can't imagine him not in our lives.
He has a beautiful curly coat and a cute turned up nose. He is a handsome fellow. I can't tell you how many complements we have on his looks and disposition. He truly is amazing. We have always had Chesapeake's which are beautiful and loyal. But we were ready for a change. I did my research on the breed and you have delivered everything that is true to the breed. Congratulations on making wonderful dogs. He is worth every penny.
We are gong back to the beach around the holidays and will take pictures of him in the waves and email them to you. We forgot our camera. Have a happy holiday!

Just wanted to share a few of our first moments with Lulu as a new member of our family. The vet loved her, we got a clean bill of health and she has been a joy and a love right from day one.
Thank you for bringing so much joy to my family. I want you both to know the love that you have given us, and we very much appreciate it.

Dear Ruth and David,
I am so thoroughly over the moon for Oliver!!!! He took to the
kids right away. We took him to my parents house, which was on the
way home, and he didn't even make a noise or dribble on the floor.
My parents were very impressed with him, as were we. I am going to
take a day or two to think of a letter that you can put on your website.
I KNOW that we made the right choice of where we got our new addition.
Please feel free to check my facebook page because I already have
pictures of Oliver on there. Thank you once again for allowing us
to adopt your puppy.
Sincerely,
Mark, Lesley, Abby and Ethan
Ruth,
I have been meaning to get back to you. Things are perfect, it took him about 24 hours to warm up but he really came out if his shell today. He is a blast and goes to the back door when he has to go to the bathroom.
Only a couple of small accidents. We could not be happier and will refer you to anyone interested and be ready for another one next year.
Thank you guys and if you ever need a referral let us know what we can do.
Hello down there in Arizona! We would
just like to tell you how happy we are with our puppy.
We are all absolutely in love with her. We have named
her Ava! She is so well behaved and very calm. Ava has
also had very very few accidents in the house! She has a
new best friend at home named Gabriella ( a gordon
setter). We have attached some pictures of her to let
you see how much she has grown, and yes she still has a
belly on her =]. We thank you so much for such a great
puppy!!

Hi Ruth - I wanted to drop you an email and let you know that "Stroodel"
is wonderful.
She has adjusted very well. Sleeping in a crate at night as of last night, with no whining when she goes in. She does get up early but so do I.
Everyone loves her. She has been on a web cam and seen by my relatives in Peru. They all wish they could have a puppy.
I took her to the Vet this morning and she checked out great. She got her next shot. I found the dog food close by too.
Thank you for everything. You were wonderful to work with. All the communication and flexibility with meeting made the process so easy.
She is so sweet and we love her. She will be the perfect fit for us.
Here are some pictures from her first photoshot. She loves to bark at baseballs and her reflection in the dishwasher. She is just adorable.
Enjoy!
Thanks Again!

Wonderful! We absolutely love our Abbi and she seems to like Dennis and I as well. She currently is the "star" in her puppy training class. We were already working with her at home but wanted to see if there was something we could learn. She lives people and thinks all other dogs are just her playmates. You certainly provided us with a smart one even though she was the smallest. She now weighs about 18 pounds at her most recent vet visit.
I will try to send you a picture soon. Thanks again for everything!
Fondly, Linda
Hi Ruth!
Darbi is doing great! She is learning all about
the crate and is beginning to like just going in and
sleeping during the day.
She has had 0 accidents. We are going to puppy
kindergarten in one week to see Karin Garvin. She
is excited for us and can't wait to meet Darbi.
I'll let you know what she has to say then.
Happy Valentines Day
Lynda
Tango is our 4th Golden Retriever, we have learned (the hard way) the "Good's and Bad's" in purchasing them, by no means are we professionals, however like anything else in life, the old adage is so true..."You learn from your mistakes". People get so attached to their Dogs, now multiply that by 10 with Golden Retrievers! The devastation that comes along with puppies from breeders that do not "adhere to the golden rule" with regard to
Pride and Professionalism is a flat out shame.
Having said this, we certainly did our homework, to save you all the time, the "English Cream" is by far the "Rolls Royce" of Goldens! They are the smartest, most beautiful and most important, have by far the sweetest temperaments. (You get what you pay for!)
David and Ruth adhere to the Golden Rule, they breed from true Champion lines (some of the highest and cleanest in the world, a direct reflection of their very high Hip, Heart and Eye scores!) and are very caring and compassionate about their responsibility as purebred breeders, think about it....your next family member is a direct reflection of your breeder.
They were true to their word from start to finish, a simply wonderful experience! And most important... deliver First Class English Cream Golden Retrievers. We strongly recommend them and Tango is living proof! On a scale of 1 to 10 he's a 12!

Hello Ruth,
I just wanted to let you how thrilled we are with our boys. They are
now almost 6 months old and we could not be happier with them. Their
temperaments are a perfect fit with our family, the kids love to be
with them playing in the dirt and hiking on the trails. Although
they have had no formal training they are quick and eager learners,
picking up commands and leash training even from the kids.
I am enclosing a photo because they are so beautiful, you just have
to see for yourself. I firmly believe we chose the right breeder;
their beauty is matched by their intelligence/temperaments.
I wanted to thank you for all your time and patience socializing
them from the day they were born, it truly paid off and it makes
your puppies stand out from all the rest. David and yourself truly
seem as though you have found your passion. I hold Y-Rock Ranch in
very high regard and would recommend anyone looking for a golden
retriever to look you up and wait for one of yours.

After much research, I recently purchased a gorgeous little female puppy, daughter of Carli & Adam, from David and Ruth here at Y-rock. I'd followed links on several ads and web sites for English Cream retriever pups, sent out many e-mails, even made some phone calls and was disappointed in both how few people answered promptly, and how lacking in general courtesy some people were. How can they sell their pups if they're uncooperative? Not so with Y-rock's owners.
Each e-mail I sent out was answered promptly and in full and David and Ruth were very helpful. They worked with me graciously and I made up my mind quickly that these were people I wanted a pup from. Every step of the process was smooth and easy, from choosing which puppy right to the shipping of my puppy all the way to Canada.
When I picked up my girl from the local airport she was totally relaxed. Once at home, she again displayed every indication of great socialization. Her character was everything they'd told me it was and she hasn't even fussed at night. Now, 4 days later, she's already heading towards the door when she needs to go out to the "bathroom."
I anticipate a great relationship with our puppy for the years to come, thanks to a good start in life from David and Ruth. Thank-you!

We purchased our new family addition from the
Y-Rock Ranch in February of 2008. We were so excited to get a
new addition. We already have an American golden that is now 3 years
old, and I have totally fallen in love with the English cream
goldens. Ruth and Dave from Y-Rock Ranch are wonderful to deal
with, and kept me posted every step of the way while we were waiting
for our new little girl to be ready. They are truly caring
people and their pups are really part of the family. We have
continued to keep in contact with them and they have been more than
willing to answer any questions or offer advice. Our Alexandra
is almost 5 months old now, and she is a wonderful dog. She is
well behaved, follows commands well, and is already retrieving.
She is wonderful with our kids, as well as my 1 year old
granddaughter. I highly recommend Y-Rock Ranch for their
loving and caring environment, and their willingness to help out.
Thanks again for allowing us to add Alexandra to
our family.

We think he is perfect!! He does have a lot
of energy at times but mostly he is pretty calm. He likes to
play but never gets too crazy and is always great with children.
He likes to sneak into rooms that are not occupied and find things
to chew on then presents them to us. He brought me our
favorite silk pillow out of the living room today that he was
shaking from side to side. We just had to laugh as the living
and dining room are blocked off but he apparently is big enough to
get over the gates. We have him in a

Zona and I arrived on Friday afternoon. She was perfect in the car
- she might have whined a teensy bit in the very beginning of the
trip, but was happy and sleepy the whole way as soon as we got on
the highway. She has made quite an impression on my parents (our
neighbors) who encourage us to bring her over to their house every
time that we visit (and they haven't had a dog in about 40 years!).
Zona seems oblivious to the indoor cats (one at our house, one at my
parents'), who are quite upset. Over the next few weeks, though,
I'm sure that the cats will adjust. Zona just walks around with a
smile on her face.
It seems like her favorite thing to do so far is to roll around on
the lawn in front of our house. The weather is pretty warm (around
90 degrees in the afternoon), but the grass is always cool. She
also likes flopping down on the wood floors in the house, and is
taking many naps.
I'd like to add that I was thrilled throughout the whole
process with all the information and photos that you provided. It
was wonderful and exciting to see the progression from newborn to
fluffy puppy over the weeks! We've only had her at home for four
days, and she is already learning to sit. Housetraining is going
very well, and she goes to sleep at night with very minimal whining
(maybe a minute or two). We gave her a bath yesterday - she stood
still the entire time in the tub, and then just let me wrap her up
in a towel and hold her. I would never have expected that! I think
she is calm and secure due to all the attention and inclusion she
had at your home. She definitely likes people and follows us
everywhere, both indoors and outside.
I can't thank you enough for all that you did to provide us with
such an exceptional puppy! We love her dearly and are delighted to
have her!

Everything is going well with Allie. She is
8 months old now, which is amazing! This is a recent picture of her
with the kids in the yard. The one below is also recent.
She has a wonderful demeanor, and is so loving! We have a lot
of fun with her!
Thanks!

I got one of Annie puppies. Ever since Toby came home he's been
great. He's one of the cutest and sweetest golden retrievers ever.
His temperament is exceptional all thanks to David and Ruth. He's
extremely friendly and confident. Wherever we go, be it at the dog
park or just for a walk, people stop to compliment and praise him.
He's very smart so training has been painless. He knows all the
basic commands(sit, down, stay, come, leave it, drop it) as well as
some fun ones (shake, high five, play dead). Housetraining
Toby has also been a breeze. He knows not to go inside the house and
if he does it's because I took too long bringing him for a walk.
David and Ruth have been great throughout this whole process. I got
the greatest little puppy thanks to them. I will definately go back
to them in the future if I feel the time is right for Toby to have
another friend in the house."
